ABOUT
Daniel Llobera is an award-winning Director of Photography working across narrative film, commercials and branded content. Based between Manchester and London, he is known for atmospheric, character-led imagery that combines stylised realism with expressive lighting and considered camera movement.
Daniel has photographed nine feature films and more than 50 short-form and commercial productions. His recent narrative work includes *Chimera*, produced by Academy Award-winning producer Julie Foy, and *Reputation*, starring James Nelson-Joyce. His commercial and branded credits include productions for Royal Caribbean and Sassy Saints, as well as work filmed at the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, the Esports World Cup in Paris and multiple seasons of London Fashion Week.
Comfortable working across intimate drama, ambitious action and technically complex productions, Daniel has experience with virtual production, extended takes, large stunt teams, high falls, fire effects and practical action sequences. He works closely with directors to develop a distinct visual language for each project while remaining responsive to the creative and practical demands of production.
A graduate of Bournemouth Film School’s MA Film Production programme, Daniel was mentored by Witold Stok BSC. His work has received multiple cinematography awards, and he was awarded Best in Show by the British Journal of Photography.
Daniel holds UK and EU passports and is available for productions internationally.
